At the heart of a campaign funded by the German government, an energy saving account has been planned. After technical realization by Netural, it should contribute to achieving the climate protection goals of the Federal Government of Germany.

An energy savings club is the dramaturgical frame of a campaign which animates people to make the right – because they are environmentally supportable – energy (saving) decisions. The Energy spar account is the protagonist in this campaign. Its goal is to bring transparence in energy use to as many of the 38 million German households. The account balances and evaluates energy use and the costs that originate from it. Based on these factored results, the account provides personal advice for planned investments in measures for raising energy efficiency. For this, it provides use prognoses and trend development for the effected households. By the connection to smart meters, which can measure and display the current energy use, the energy savings account supplies a live-monitoring of the personal energy use.

The energy savings account places the personal energy use in an understandable relation to the – also financial – savings potential. And: it can also be connected to other eco-websites.
